COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE LOOKING FOR
INFORMATION ABOUT CAMPUS
FIRES
Over the past month, five fires
have been started in the men's bathrooms in
the Clark building and Chemistry building on
campus and campus police are looking for information
on possible suspects.
The first fire was reported at 4:34 p.m. on
Thursday, Oct. 21 in the second-floor men's
room, on the South side of the A-wing in the
Clark building. The second fire, about 30 minutes
after the first was discovered, occurred in
the third-floor men's room, on the north side
of the C-wing in Clark.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on the same day two
additional fires were reported. One was in the
men's room, on the first floor on the north
side of the C-wing in Clark.
Nearly ten minutes later, another fire was set
in the men's room in the Chemistry Building,
on the first floor by the lobby. These fires
were identical in nature to the earlier fires.
At 3:05 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, an additional
fire occurred in the second-floor men's room,
on the south side of the C-wing in Clark. All
of the fires were set in plastic trash cans
in the restrooms.
No suspects are currently known, but investigation
into evidence which has been found will continue.

anyone sees a person leaving a restroom and
notices fire or smoke, please call 911 immediately
with a description of the person and the direction
in which he or she is traveling.
